Is jeremiah from the summer i turned pretty gay
Jenny Han's 'The Summer I Turned Pretty' on Prime Video is finally here! Fans are curious if Jeremiah Fisher is bisexual in the new show.
Here's what we know. Does anyone feel like Jeremiah being bi was a clear reason why Belly shouldn’t choose him? Idk it felt so forced. I felt like first season they tried to make Jere the “gay” best friend until he admitted his feelings for her. It didn’t feel organic to the character.

According to author Jenny Han, Jeremiah is “sexually fluid” and “is a young person who’s figuring out where he falls in all that and hasn’t experienced a lot of love yet.” (via TV Line) Is. Jeremiah "Jere" Fisher is a main character in the Prime Video original series, The Summer I Turned Pretty. He is portrayed by Gavin Casalegno. Jeremiah is a popular, bisexual, athletic, playful and easygoing character who is the life of the party, incredibly magnetic and flirts with everyone.
Luke is an openly gay character in The Summer I Turned Pretty. At a party, he and Jeremiah resort to the couch where he questions why Luke has never hit the pool to which Luke tells him his parents installed one in his backyard, he then flirts and teases Luke if his pool has "all this" (referring to himself) to which Luke calls him queerbaiter. With complicated love triangles, funeral fights, and ambiguous flashbacks, the first three episodes of the new season left us itching for answers from Belly, Jeremiah, Conrad, and the rest of the Cousins Beach fam.
This season takes a more serious turn, as we watch how the two families are mourning the loss of mother Susannah Fisher and their Cousins Beach summer home. So is Jeremiah bisexual? While lifeguarding at the pool with Steven Sean Kaufman , he points out all of his previous hookups — pointing at both men and women. In the following episode, the teens attend a house party together. As they disperse to enjoy the night, a guy accuses Jeremiah of queer-baiting.
The confident character then makes out with him as a means of proving him wrong. What would that look like? And how would that change things? As a mere high school student, Jeremiah is still exploring his sexuality and leaving out any labels just yet. Gavin Casalegno also shared his thoughts on playing the updated, queer character in an exclusive interview with J last year.
